How do you block ads on a PC?

  1. Install an ad-blocking extension in every browser you use.
  2. Configure and update each extension separately.
  3. Keep in mind that extensions don't cover desktop apps that show ads, so those ads stay.

Extensions only work inside the browser they are installed in. If you use several browsers or apps with ads, you are only partly covered.

Is the Ad-Blocker free?

Yes. The Free plan blocks up to 10,000 requests; Pro is unlimited.

A website doesn't load. What should I do?

Switch to a lower filter level (Extreme → Optimum → Minimal). If it still fails, turn the Ad-Blocker off and your connection returns to normal.

Does it replace my antivirus?

No. The Ad-Blocker blocks ads and trackers, but it isn't an antivirus; it works alongside Windows Security or your security software.
