Bring back the classic right-click menu in Windows 11

In Windows 11's simplified right-click menu, many options are hidden behind "Show more options". TuneUP brings back the full Windows 10 menu with one switch.

  • Every option one click away, no extra menu
  • Turn the switch off and the Windows 11 menu returns
  • End Task on right-click on the same screen
TuneUP: Bring back the classic right-click menu in Windows 11

How do you open the old right-click menu in Windows 11?

  1. Right-click a file and choose "Show more options" at the bottom.
  2. Or select the file and press Shift + F10 to open the classic menu once.
  3. Changing the menu permanently requires editing the Windows Registry.

A wrong change in the Registry can cause problems in Windows, so editing it by hand isn't recommended.

Bring it back for good with TuneUP

  1. Open TuneUP and go to Optimization.
  2. Turn on the Classic Right-click Menu switch.
  3. Want the Windows 11 menu back? Turn the switch off.
