TuneUP won't open or crashes on start
Troubleshooting steps when TuneUP fails to launch on Windows.
Try these in order
- Restart your PC. A pending Windows update or a stuck background instance is the most common cause.
- Check the system tray. TuneUP may already be running minimized; click its tray icon.
- Update TuneUP. Open the Microsoft Store, go to Library and install any available updates.
- Repair the app. Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → TuneUP → Advanced options → Repair. If that doesn't help, use Reset (this clears local settings; your account and Pro plan are kept).
- Check your antivirus. Some security tools block system-maintenance apps; add TuneUP as an exception.
