Your first five minutes with TuneUP
A quick tour of the TuneUP Windows app and the first things worth doing after installing it.
1. Take the tour
On first launch, TuneUP shows a short welcome tour. You can go through it with Next or Skip it.
2. Check the Control Panel
The home screen analyzes your PC and shows an Optimization Score, Disk Health and a list of Recommended Tasks. Start with those.
3. Run your first cleanup
Open Cleaning and run a scan. See AI vs Manual cleaning for the two modes.
4. Apply recommended optimizations
In Optimization, the recommended optimizations button safely applies settings that help speed, gaming performance and battery life.
5. Explore the Toolbox
The Toolbox gathers Uninstaller, Secure Shredder, File Finder, Duplicate Finder, Startup Manager, Benchmark and Ad-Blocker in one place.
6. Sign in (optional)
You can use TuneUP without an account. Sign in to sync your plan and to buy or use Pro.
