Free plan limits on Windows explained
Which TuneUP Windows tools have usage limits on the Free plan, and what happens when you reach them.
What is unlimited
Cleaning, the Control Panel analysis, Startup Manager, File Finder, Benchmark, Timeline and most optimizations can be used on the Free plan without a counter.
Tools with a Free quota
- Uninstaller: 3 program removals.
- Software Updater: 3 app updates.
- Secure Shredder: 1 shred operation.
- Ad-Blocker: 10,000 blocked ad requests.
Pro-only options, such as Aggressive Mode in Advanced Cleaning, are marked with (Pro) in the app.
When you reach a limit
TuneUP shows an upgrade window instead of running the tool. Upgrading to Pro removes every limit immediately; you do not need to reinstall the app. Use Upgrade Plan in the top bar, or see the pricing page.
