Privacy: what data TuneUP collects and how to anonymize it

What usage data the Windows app sends and how to turn on anonymous telemetry.

What is sent

TuneUP sends basic usage telemetry: app version, Windows version, general hardware info (CPU, GPU, RAM size), country, and how much space has been cleaned. It doesn't send the contents or names of your files.

Anonymize Telemetry

Pro users can turn on Anonymize Telemetry in the app's Settings or in Quick Settings on the website. It removes direct device identifiers from analytics records where possible. TuneUP asks you to restart the app for the change to take effect.

Local data

Settings, cleanup statistics, Timeline history and usage counters are stored securely on your PC.
